Celebrate with a little Chambray

So this may come as a slight shocker to some of you, but this southern belle is born and bred a Gamecock! (hope I don't loose too many followers!) :) I may be a Georgia Peach but my Uncle raised me right! Don't worry Georgia is a close second.. That said, we whipped some tail in yesterdays game and I'm feeling the need for a little celebration! Which means.... a little Chambray! (and of course we pretended our beers were champagne while we toasted last nights victories!) Just like a fall Saturday in the south the chambray top is simple and sweet and goes with almost anything! Dressed up or dressed down any season you name it, it can be worn in some form! And with the easy breezy or office style it is perfect to go from one event to the next!

My exact shirt is no longer available, it was from Kohl's Department store and the brand was SO. The one pictured about is almost exact however and it is from American Eagle, http://www.ae.com/factory/browse/product.jsp?catId=cat6720002&productId=0536_1359_915&srccode=cii_17588969&cpncode=27-358135290-2&cid=AE_PLA_3370156

That's just a few ways to style this awesome trend! Send me your ideas and what you want to see next! Happy Sunday!

Of course I gave her one to wear in the meantime! ;) No worries! I could have paired it with almost anything in my closet, and the BEST part! It is so comfy! No sucking in and no worries about how it is positioned!

The White Tee

Hey Guys! So I know it's Late but I promised to get this thing started and I am finally sitting down after a loooong evening! This is the first style post so let me tell you how this goes! I will post a "key item" every time. I will then add a link for where to get the item or let you know what store I purchased it from. Then, I will give you an idea of a few different ways to incorporate that piece into your wardrobe to create a few different looks and styles! Lets get started!

For my first post I want to feature the most basic key piece you can possibly own: a white tee. Mine is a V-neck because that's what I prefer!

It is also from Old Navy, so it wont break the bank but you'll still look like a million bucks if you style it right! http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=99084&vid=1&pid=810130242I went with a few casual looks that would work great for school or the weekend and then a good business look for interviews or the office! And of course one night out look! Its a super key piece that can be used in so many different ways! Hope you like what you see!

That's all for now! Hope you all have sweet dreams and I will talk to you tomorrow!

Hi All!

Hello all my followers! Being that this is my first post I think it is only proper that I tell you a little about myself.

I am Maggie Mae and I am 23. I have a passion for fashion, beauty, Travel and people!

I am a current student at the University of North Georgia, a music lover, southern belle, and former Atlanta Braves Cheerleader.

My dugout days are done but I will always remain a tried and true, bleed red, white and blue tomahawk chopper. On January 27th I became a mommy to the sweetest bundle of joy named Dallas James.

I like to buy things I know I can get a lot of wear out of and I feel like so often we are drawn to buy things that are "trendy" and we end up wearing them once. I wanted to create a blog that shows women how to use their "Key" pieces in their wardrobe in atleast four different ways that way they can optimize the use of their clothing! I hope this inspires you to look at your closet a little differently and maybe save you a little money too ;)! Comments and questions are more than welcome! I hope you enjoy!

Kisses,
Maggie Mae
